West Coast Wildflower Tour(seasonal)
Ideally, the West Coast region is best visited during the winter and spring months, as the area experiences extremely hot conditions during summer. The rugged and arid West Coast is a region of extreme contrast and spectacular beauty. This Tour allows Visitors to experience the constantly changing landscape and hospitality of the local People at the numerous small Fishing harbours and Country Villages. The scenic beauty of this almost desolate Coast is complimented by its plentiful Sea Life, its Wildlife, and its diverse Bird-life, all forming part of the variety offered by this beautiful part of the Cape. The day starts with a photo opportunity at Blouberg Beach for that Million Dollar view of Cape Town and Table Mountain, before heading off to the West Coast National Park, a Nature Lovers and Birdwatchers paradise. Here, if Mother Nature allows, you should get to experience the spectacular Spring Wild Flower displays that this Region offers, perhaps also spotting the wild animals such as eland, bontebok, and zebra, also found in the Reserves. Also look out for the awesome Southern Right Whale, often found frolicking in the Bays, particularly from July to November. Enjoy an optional lunch at one of the superb seaside restaurants found in Langebaan or at the Geelbek Restaurant in the Park. Return to the City in the late afternoon. HIGHLIGHTS
