Spirits Of The Past Tours Although Grahamstown may not be on the conventional start or end to a classic Garden Route and game reserve holiday, we believe that it should be. Spirits of the Past Tours are all led by award winning guide, Alan Weyer. Told with verve and humour, historical events and characters become real again, and you left with an unforgettable and fascinating framework in which to truly appreciate the beauty and diversity of the region.
Half-Day Frontier Country Tour On a hill overlooking Grahamstown, and its surroundings, you get to learn about the many peoples and cultures that have influenced the region and the effect that they have had on South African History. This tour is ideal for the visitor who has limited time but would like to get a comprehensive and informative overview of the region. Don’t let the word history out you off – there either, this is an area full of events, and told with enthusiasm and humour. Light refreshments are included.
