Nguni River Lodge offers spectacular scenery, with its view over a pristine floodplain with the majestic Zuurberg Mountains as a backdrop.  The Lodge is situated in a private concession of the malaria free Addo Elephant National Park, which is within easy reach of Port Elizabeth. At Nguni you can experience an extraordinary biodiversity, and a wealth of adventure activities.

This luxurious Lodge is an eclectic combination of architectural shapes, textures and colours.  Each guest suite boasts a romantic bathroom with an opulent stone bath and outdoor shower, private balcony and plunge pool.  From the privacy and comfort of your suite, sightings of Africa's abundant wildlife can be seen on the floodplain below. This is a small, exclusive Lodge, accommodating a maximum of 18 guests, in 7 standard, and 1 king suite (which sleeps 4, and is excellent for families). All accommodation is air-conditioned, and boasts mini-bar, tea/ coffee making facilities.

There is an extensive lounge (complete with log fire), and dining area – which are open plan, and allow excellent views of the floodplain and mountains. The kitchen is interactive, and guests are encouraged to get involved!

The beautiful and diverse Addo Elephant National Park offers a wide variety of game viewing. The Park is presently being expanded to include 120 000 marine zone. Apart from morning and afternoon game drives in the park, and the private concession, guests can also enjoy game walks, horse riding, bird watching excursions, and cruises to the St Croix Island Marine Reserve.
