This is an Explorer Tour that takes you all along the Coastline as far as Hermanus or even beyond, ensuring that you get the very best opportunities to view these spectacular Sea Mammals from the shore. Springtime is Whale time!

During the spring months of July, August, September, October and November, the awesome Southern Right and Humpback Whales migrate from the Antarctic regions to the warmer Waters found along our Cape Coastline. Hermanus and surrounds are a nature lovers and Whale watchers paradise.

View the Whales, from the shore, but if prior booking is received and weather conditions are suitable, optional Boat-based viewing on a registered Whale Watching Charter Boat can also be arranged, at an additional cost.

• Spectacular Coastal drive from Gordon’s Bay, along the Eastern coastline of False Bay
• Visit the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens or the Stoney Point Penguin Colony in Betty’s Bay, Delightful walks along the cliffs overlooking the Whales
• Watch the whales and their antics in Walker Bay
• Enjoy lunch at one of the superb Sea-food Restaurants in Hermanus
• Return to Cape Town via the scenic Sir Lowry’s Pass, offering breathtaking views of the Cape Peninsula from Devil’s Peak to Cape Point
