Colona Castle is beautifully positioned for those wishing to explore the Cape peninsula, Winelands, and the City itself. En route to the Cape Point Reserve, enjoy the quaint village of Kalk Bay, Boulders Beach, and penguins in Simon’s Town. You might choose a visit to the beautiful Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, with the nearby historical attractions of Constantia. Then there is the majestic Table Mountain, and V&A waterfront – home to the Two Ocean’s Aquarium. For the more active, there is the nearby Sandvlei Lake, with its many boating activities, such as yachting, windsurfing and canoeing. Cruises or deep sea fishing trips, and shark viewing trips can be arranged out of Hout Bay or Simonstown harbours. And for golfers – there are 4 world-class golf courses within a few minutes drive: Westlake, Clovelly, Steenberg, and the Royal Cape.
