Belvidere Manor Knysna

Belvidere Manor is a large property, with a number of private cottages, which are either single or double storey, and have views of either the Knysna’s lagoon, or the beautiful gardens of the estate. Cottages have either 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms, making them excellent for family stays.

Each cottage has a wide veranda, comfortable lounge with fireplace, a fully fitted kitchen, bedrooms en-suite, telephone, satellite television and DVD player, ceiling fans, and one, two or three en suite double bedrooms.  They are fully serviced.

The Garden Classic, Deluxe and Superior Cottages are all situated in the grounds about the Manor House, and as their names suggest, all enjoy views of the gardens.

The Lagoon Classic and Deluxe Cottages are all situated in the grounds below the Manor House, and have views of the Lagoon. There Loerie and Guineafowl Cottages also overlook the lagoon.

The Cottage accommodation also includes a farmhouse breakfast at the Manor.

Guests can enjoy fine dining at Caroline’s Restaurant at Belvidere Manor, where an à la carte menu is served each evening. There is seating both in the dining room, and on the veranda, weather permitting. As the Garden Route is well known for its natural produce, there are local cheeses, ostrich meat, lamb, the famous Knysna oysters to enjoy. You might also wish to savour local venison.
