Abbey ManorAbbey Manor is a luxury guesthouse, situated on the lower slopes of Table Mountain – allowing excellent views of the city, the harbour and Table Bay itself. The Manor was built in 1905, but has been lovingly remodelled to allow for all the modern comforts. All 9 rooms are air-conditioned, have satellite TV, mini-bar, tea/ coffee making facilities, safe, and internet access. You have an excellent choice in terms of accommodation – with 2 Grande Cottages in the grounds (with private entrance), 2 Grande Rooms and 5 Luxury Rooms in the main house. No room is alike, but are all beautifully appointed, and en-suite (most with shower and bath). Guests enjoy a gourmet breakfast in the breakfast room, or on the patio. For relaxation, you can also enjoy the use of a heated swimming pool, and spa bath. The manor is well placed for visits to the V&A waterfront, the city’s historical, and entertainment landmarks, as well as the famous beaches of Camps Bay. You are also close to majestic Table Mountain, and its Reserve, with hiking trails, and viewing spots. The beauties of Kirstenbosch and Constantia are not far, and a day trip to the Winelands is highly recommended. You might want to try something a little more adventurous – some shark cage diving, or sea-kayaking.
