River Manor Stellenbosch

River Manor Stellenbosch comprises two historical houses set in the picturesque Oak-lined "Avenue" across from the Eerste River, a mere two minute stroll from Stellenbosch’s village centre with its museums, street cafe's, restaurants and galleries. 

The River Manor has 18 spacious en-suite rooms, are stylishly decorated with antiques and combine old world charm with modern conveniences – satellite TV, ceiling fan, wall safe, bar fridge, heating. Air conditioned rooms are available on request.

The Superior Rooms are spacious, with generously proportioned bathrooms, and include bath and separate shower - some include original Victorian baths. Air-conditioning is available in these rooms.

The River Manor's classic rooms are slightly smaller, and although en-suite, have bathrooms, with shower or bath only. Some of these Classic Rooms are set in the garden overlooking the swimming pool. 

There are two Petite rooms, are the smallest in size, and have a shower (no bath) in the bathroom.

You can enjoy Colonial poolside breakfasts before setting out to explore Stellenbosch and its surrounding Winelands.

For guests wishing to indulge in some pampering there is an exclusive Health and Beauty Spa set within the gardens. The Spa is professionally run by a team of therapists offering a range of health, beauty and relaxation treatments.

Guests can also enjoy the use of a second swimming pool on the property, and there are a number of activities that can be organised locally – such as fold, horse riding, hiking, and trout fishing.
