Situated in the village of Franschhoek in the heart of the Cape Winelands, this privately owned and managed Auberge has 15 en-suite bedrooms and 2 suites – each with their own private pool – and a private library overlooking a central garden courtyard and swimming pool. The atmosphere at the Auberge is peaceful and serene, with an emphasis on luxury and romantic charm, combined with the priceless gift of privacy. The latest additions to Le Quartier Francais are the Four Quarters Suites. These are four sumptuous, and generously sized suites overlooking a central courtyard and lap pool. Each suite is decorated using luxury fittings, fabrics, finishes and local artwork. These suites are ideal for families travelling together or a small group of friends travelling together. The original homestead has been converted into 2 very comfortable suites with private pools in walled gardens. They are ideal for guests wishing ultimate privacy. A charming addition are loft rooms especially kitted out for children under the age of 12. Then there are the 15 luxury rooms built around a central pool and surrounded by scented white and blue gardens. Each spacious room is individually decorated and offers the comfort of home with extra little touches. Le Quartier Francais is renowned for its fine dining – from sticky buns for breakfast, bistro lunches on the terrace and award-winning cutting edge cuisine in the Tasting Room - where you can enjoy course after course of exquisitely presented culinary delight. Guests can choose a four, six or eight course dining experience from a constantly evolving menu. You can also enjoy iCI, the relaxed, café-style restaurant / street side bistro. This takes care of care of breakfast, lunch, casual dinners and anything in between from a glass of wine to good coffees. iCi flows from the street-side terrace through the new, spacious interiors decorated in a chic, to an outdoor fireplace in the garden. When you want to stay in, and relax, there is The Screening Room - an intimate cinematic experience in the comfort of leather chairs or back row couches. Sip a local wine, savour a snack and enjoy your complimentary movie, from old time classics to cinema nouveau. To further enhance your stay – there are treatments available at the Treatment Room, which uses DECLEOR – PARIS products. Based on a "Duo-Concept" combining the effectiveness of Aromatherapy with the protection of Phytotherapy, the DECLEOR range, including face, body, men and sun, can treat all skin types.
