Knysna River ClubKnysna River Club has luxurious and spacious log chalets, beautifully set among tall, shady trees and on the very edge of Knysna's famous lagoon. There are a total of 35 luxury chalets on the property, allowing guests to experience an unforgettable stay at one of South Africa's prime destinations. You can choose between garden chalets set amongst forest ferns and trees or waterfront chalets offering spectacular views of the tranquil Knysna Lagoon. All chalets have a lounge with TV / M-Net and telephone; kitchens are fully equipped for self-catering. Full English breakfasts are served in the dining room of the historic Manor House, or if you prefer breakfast in bed, a continental breakfast basket will be delivered to your doorstep. For dinner, the dining room offers a delicious, affordable a la carte menu, including Knysna's famous oysters and the seafood for which the area is justly famous - all complimented by a superb wine list. Nestling under a large oak at the entrance to the resort stands a quaint 1890 Manor House in the original yellow wood and oregon - cosy, and filled with olde worlde charm. This is the home of Boogies - one of Knysna's finest restaurants, and is open for breakfast & dinner. The log fire in the main dining room creates a warm atmosphere in winter and in summer, breakfast and dinner can be enjoyed outside. Centrally situated in the heart of Knysna, the Knysna River Club provides easy access to a wide variety of Garden Route activities and adventures, such as whale watching (seasonal), golf, forest walks and sunset cruises. With its own jetty and slipway, safe swimming, and great fishing literally on your doorstep, Knysna River Club offers water sport enthusiasts everything needed for an action packed holiday.
